Copies of reports are not released to the general public. In order to obtain a copy of the report, you must be a named victim of the crime report or the driver, registered owner of the vehicle, injured party, or property owner named in the collision report.Reports are free of charge to involved parties. A fee of $5 will be charged to authorized third parties (i.e. insurnace companies). Please allow four to five business days for the approval and data entry process. Persons arrested will need to obtain a copy of his/her police report through the Madison County District Attorney's Office.
