Madison Street Festival is this Saturday, October 7th.
Roads will be closed in the downtown area. The event will open with a 9 AM Parade that will travel west along Mill Rd, south on Church Street, west on Front St, and north on Sullivan Street, ending at Madison Elementary School.
MPD will provide traffic control and public safety for the Annual Street Festival.
Upon conclusion of the parade Mill Rd and Sullivan St will reopen for traffic, but the remaining roads downtown will remain closed until 5:30 PM
Plan for alternate travel.
Main St will be closed beginning Friday evening at 6:00 PM.
Please be aware of pedestrians in this area and follow all traffic directions from officers.
Do not remove, alter, or drive around traffic barricades, cones, or other traffic control devices.
