Beginning the week of February 6th, street sweeping will begin on the roadways shown on the linked map. Weather permitting, this street sweeping will be concluded in 2 weeks. We ask that residents of these streets refrain from parking on or placing any items in the roadway between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Trash receptacles and recycle bins should be placed behind the curb during this time for your weekly pickup.
The street sweeping program is aimed at improving the quality of storm water runoff. The City of Madison would like to remind citizens to keep leaves, grass clippings, trash and fertilizers away from storm drains. Never dump motor oil, chemicals, pet waste, dirty or soapy water, or other substances down a storm drain.
