The City of Madison will be hosting the annual Fourth of July Holiday Celebration at the Dublin Park this year with a free Fireworks Display. The display will be supervised by the Madison Fire and Police Departments to prevent injury and other hazards. The MPD reminds citizens that there is a City ordinance prohibiting individuals from discharging fireworks in the City of Madison. Officers will be enforcing this ordinance. Please remember that we are reaching record high tempratures and have been without rain. Grass and shrubs are extremely dry, creating a fire hazard from fireworks.
