[ARCHIVED] Allied Waste takes over trash service

Allied Waste takes over trash service

Effective July 25, 2011, Allied Waste will provide trash service for the City of Madison.

Allied Waste will pick up small debris (i.e. bags of grass) Monday through Wednesday. If your service is currently on Thursdays it will now be picked up on Wednesdays. If your service is currently scheduled for Fridays it will now be picked up on Monday.

All large items (limbs, furniture, appliances, etc.) will be picked up on Thursday or Friday. Everything west of Wall Triana/Sullivan will be picked up on Thursdays and everything east of Wall Triana/Sullivan will be picked up on Fridays. Allied will leave a notice on all debris that is to be picked up Thursday or Friday.
