Madison Fire and Rescue is wanting to know locations of storm shelters within the City of Madison. If a destructive tornado actually comes through the city, by registering your shelter with Madison Fire and Rescue we will know who has a shelter on their property. By knowing this, it would give search and rescue teams the information of where residents took shelter if a structure is severely damaged or destroyed. This service is for residents within the city limits of the City of Madison only.
