Due to the COVID-19 national outbreak, Municipal operations including Parks and Recreation, the Senior Center, and Court operations will be as follows:
Based on Governor Ivey’s orders announced 3/27, Dublin Park, Palmer Park, Madison Senior Center, and Madison city playgrounds will be closed until April 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because of the fluidity of this situation, the status of city-ran programs, leagues, and partnered organizations will be re-evaluated after April 17.
The City of Madison Parks and Recreation Department is following state and local mandates and recommendations for these closures at this time. Until then, please continue to exercise good health practices and make smart choices when away from your homes.
