Certified Instructors
All instructors within the Department during their instruction are supervised by the Training Sergeants. The Madison Police Department currently has certified instructors in the following areas:

- Firearms
- Shooting Decisions
- Principles and Operation of Radar
- CPR
- Child Safety Seat Installation
- Field Training Officer
- TASER
- Defensive/Pursuit Driving
