Welcome from the Chief
Fire Chief Message:
Madison Alabama is a wonderful and unique city. As such, our teams of professional men and women must prepare for all hazards. While Emergency Medical and Fire / Rescue responses encompass the bulk of our work load; we partner with many agencies to prepare for all natural and man-made incidents.
Madison Fire / Rescue members strive to understand the needs of our citizens. We prepare proactively, with partner agencies, to prevent citizen emergencies. Additionally, we plan, train, and exercise vigorously to respond to and mitigate all types of emergencies and disasters. We all understand that Fire / Rescue work can be a dangerous team sport. So, in all of our activities, we take care of each other as we take care of our citizens and visitors.
I am very fortunate to serve with our talented members, and our many professional community partners, to ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens.
