MADISON ANIMAL CONTROL WILDLIFE GUIDELINES
Madison Animal Control does not remove wild animals that happen to occasionally visit your yard. There are times when the same animals might decide to become more than visitors. In that event Madison Animal Control has traps available to the public if any of the following circumstances occur:
  • Damage to private property including roof damage and digging up yards. A trap will be provided as available to the public. The traps will be signed for a 3 day period. If an animal is caught, it shall be the home owner's responsibility to humanely remove the animal. Animal Control due to (insurance reasons) will not access an attic or enter a crawlspace to set a trap or to remove an animal. If this is necessary it is the home owner’s responsibility to place the trap.

  • Madison Animal Control will respond to aide in the removal of an animal that enters your home.
