Security Committee
The Security Team will leverage the experiences and collective talents of our team members to assess the current state of school safety/security policies, procedures, and controls and make recommendations based on best practices that aid the school district in creating a balanced, integrated, and optimized school safety/security strategies.
The sub-committee will consider risks and the early recognition, intervention, and prevention of violence or threatening behavior. They will address the use of access controls and other security technologies, e.g., detection equipment, cameras, barriers, etc. Finally, the group will look at specific roles and responsibilities and determine specialized training needs for stakeholders that help to build trust and student confidence in our safe school system.
