What is the award?

The Beautification Board of Madison sponsors the Beautification Awards. The recognition is awarded annually following a rigorous judging of nominated properties.  Award winners are honored at a luncheon.  A Beautification Award sign is placed on winning properties.

Who is eligible?

Any commercial, business or public property (including government buildings) within the city limits of Madison may be nominated. The “public” areas of apartment complexes, condominiums, townhome developments, residential subdivisions, schools, hospitals and churches may be nominated; private residences are not eligible.

Landscape contractors must have required business licenses, including a city business license to maintain the property and a state license to install trees and shrubs.
