NFL Punt, Pass & Kick
The NFL has developed a program to teach boys and girls teamwork, athletic skills, and the fundamentals of punting, passing, and kicking – core skills essential to the game of football. The goal is to inject fun and excitement. Regardless of ability, boys and girls ages 6 -15 years will be challenged and have a great time learning how to play football.
NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick
is about more than just who throws or kicks the ball the furthest…it’s about encouraging kids to be active and have fun playing the game of football.
Age Divisions & Competitions
The five age divisions are: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15, with boys and girls competing separately. Age is determined as of December 31 of the current year. The top scorer in each age division from each Local Competition will advance to the Sectional Competition. The top five first place scorers in each age group form the pool of Sectional Competition champions and will advance to the Team Championship.
Each participant will be allowed one punt, one pass, and one kick as part of his/her competition. Scores are based on both distance and accuracy. Local Competitions take place during August and September. Sectionals preferably are held on Saturdays and/or Sundays in October. The Team Championship will take place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia, in November or December.
The top four scorers from all the first place finalists in each age division in both the girls and boys age groups (from each of the NFL teams) will advance to the National Finals. The National Finals are usually held at an NFL playoff game in January.
