The City of Madison would like to invite residents to the City of Madison Annual Christmas Parade which will take place this Saturday December 12th beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The parade participants will line up on Plaza Boulevard, which will be closing to through traffic at 4:00 p.m. Only parade traffic will be allowed on Plaza Boulevard during this time.
Beginning at 5:25 p.m. the Madison Police Department will close the following streets as the parade progresses:
• Hughes Road at Plaza Boulevard
• Hughes Road to Mill Road
• Mill Road to Church Street
• Church Street to Main Street/Sullivan Street
• Sullivan Street from Main Street to Mill Road
Sullivan Street will be closed from Main Street to Mill Road from approximately 5:45 to 6:00 for the parade.
Please plan your route accordingly and if traveling in these areas proceed with caution.
