[ARCHIVED] City of Madison hosts FREE Flu Shot Clinic

Madison area for next Tuesday afternoon, October 20th from 1 - 4 pm at Madison City Hall. The clinic will be conducted in the City Council Chambers.

Regular influenza vaccine will be given free of charge to any citizen 6 months of age and older.

These flu shots are offered to all citizens on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please bring your Medicare Part B card to assist state officials in obtaining reimbursement of vaccine cost.

Again this is not the H1N1 vaccination but Alabama Public Health Officials are recommending that all citizens have both the regular flu shot and the H1N1 flu shot. The H1N1 supplies are still expected to be available in late October.
