[ARCHIVED] Announcement of Final Concrete Pour at Target Site

Concrete pouring will end very soon at the Target site. Due to the elevated temperatures and nature of the pour, the Madison City Council agreed to allow the contractor to begin work in the early morning hours for six (6) days beginning July 14 and ending July 27. However, rain and soil conditions prevented pouring on several days. Therefore, the general contractor has been granted permission to pour Monday, August 1, beginning at 5:00 a.m. Again, we have been assured that noise levels at the worksite will be very closely monitored and measures are still in place to direct light and noise away from your homes.

As the fastest growing city in the State of Alabama, Madison will occasionally experience temporary growth pains. We are confident however, that the addition of the Shoppes of Madison and the new amenities it will offer, will positively affect every Madison resident's quality of life. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.
