[ARCHIVED] Announcement of Target Construction Times

Concrete pouring will begin soon for the Target store. Due to the elevated temperatures and nature of the pour, the Madison City Council has agreed to allow the contractor to begin work in the early morning hours on the following days:

July 14, 2011 (Thursday); July 15, 2011 (Friday) July 20, 2011 (Wednesday);
July 21, 2011 (Thursday); July 22, 2011 (Friday); July 27, 2011 (Wednesday)
Pouring will begin at 1 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m.

We have been assured by the general contractor that noise levels at the worksite will be very closely monitored. Several measures will be in place to direct light and noise away from your homes during those periods of early morning work. We are aware this may be a temporary annoyance, but we believe it will be better for all, than having the same work occur over 10 or more days.

As Madison grows our property values increase, new amenities are gained and our quality of life is positively impacted, however on occasion we do experience temporary growth pains. We would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and support.
