Madison Public Works Department wants residents to be aware of keeping storm drains clear. Blocking storm drains with side of road trash/debris, particularly with the heavy fast storms of late, has caused issues with drainage. Our Public Works team has noticed recent debris has been blocking or is being washed into the drains and ditches causing flooding. Citizens are asked to bag and place debris out of the way of storm drains for pick up.
