Niche 2020 Best Schools Rankings

Niche recently ranked Madison City Schools 46th out of 10,782 school districts in America, and also positioned MCS 2nd in the state. Local leaders are singing praises. 

“A huge congratulations to Superintendent Parker, our Board of Education led by Ranae Bartlett, and the entire Madison City Schools family whose collective dedication secured these stellar rankings. As Mayor and Council, we are so proud of our schools and community which continues to thrive,”  says Mayor Paul Finley

Commissioner Steve Haraway comments, “Our school system anchors this community. Madison City Schools have been faced with the challenge of growth and have continued to perform remarkably.” 

School systems were graded on areas such as academics, diversity, teachers, college prep, clubs/activities as well as health and safety.
