Certified Instructors

All instructors within the Department during their instruction are supervised by the Training Sergeants. The Madison Police Department currently has certified instructors in the following areas:

  • Handcuffing
  • Defensive Tactics
  • Firearms
  • Shooting Decisions
  • Principles and Operation of Radar
  • CPR
  • Child Safety Seat Installation
  • Field Training Officer
  • TASER
