The Madison Senior Center will be closed on the following Madison City observed holidays.

- Labor Day
- Veteran's Day
- Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday
- Christmas Day
The Madison Senior Center may close for inclement weather, building maintenance, or other reasons deemed necessary by the Department. These closings will be posted on the Recreation Department's main page, as well as the center's Facebook page, Madison Senior Center Facebook Page. If you are a registered member with updated information, you will also receive reminder calls through our VoiceConnect automated phone notification system for important happenings, schedule changes, and closures due to holidays and inclement weather, etc. The automated phone calls will display the center’s main phone number 256-772-6242 on your Caller ID.
