The Madison Senior Center strives to promote independence, emotional, social, physical, mental well-being and life enjoyment by providing access to community resources, social events, and activities to keep our actively aging adults engaged in our community. As of April 19, 2021, the Madison Senior Center reopened with limited activities and capacity based on the guidelines and recommendations of the Alabama Department of Senior Services. For activities, check out the quarterly newsletter, as well as the monthly calendar. Please note ALL ACTIVITIES REQUIRE PREREGISTRATION. About the Senior Center
Under our limited reopening, the Center offers a variety of recreational activities for actively aging adults. The Center also offers Grab & Go lunches, as well as a home-bound meal program for members ages 60 and older with updated TARCOG information sheets. For information on the lunch program, please call 256-772-6242. All activities require preregistration.
Many of you have asked about the ability to preregister online. Well, that capability is now available. To preregister for an activity:
- Go to MyActiveCenter.com
- Select your local center (Madison Senior Center) and type in your MySeniorCenter Key Tag number and home phone number (number furnished on your updated information sheet).
- You will then create an account with a username and password.
- Once you have activated your account, you can preregister for activities. When you enroll in an activity, it appears on your My Activities page.
If you and your spouse share an email address, you can add your spouse to your account from the My Account page.
